Pacific Ridge Students Visit Lund Team

The Lund team played host to the students from Pacific Ridge, the newer private school located in Carlsbad. The topic of conversation was environmentally friendly products in a business environment. We talked about the return on investment on green products, the future of green building products, and how to get businesses to adopt sometimes expensive green improvements.

We here at the Lund team embrace the “green” movement and implemented a number of environmentally friendly improvements to our office when we built in 2007. Garrett Lund also became a “Green Broker”. And I am encouraging him to blog on the newest trends in real estate

The Pacific Ridge students were particularly interested in the commercial grade “solatudes” we have installed a function as the primary light source in our office. And even on this cloudy morning, we worked without needing lights.

It was impressive to see these seventh and eighth graders asking intelligent questions and being exposed to such selfless, worldly concepts. I asked the professor accompanying the students if the Lund team could have a private tour of the school. He agreed, so look forward to giving you an update soon.
